Wen Huang

Director

Public Service, Singapore

Wen started his career writing code and wrangling servers—before realizing he was more interested in fixing teams than memory leaks. Since then, he’s built products, businesses, and teams around the world. From webmaster for the world’s most popular MP3 player to field-testing video analytics in a red-light district to building a global innovation consultancy, Wen’s career has been one long series of “never tried that before—this could be fun.”

Wen’s held roles like Global Head of Innovation Advisory at AWS, APAC CTO at SoftServe, and, most recently, Director of a newly formed group in public service. What’s kept him going isn’t the job titles or industries—it’s the chance to work on meaningful problems with clever, kind people. That, and just enough chaos, caffeine, and whiteboarding to keep things interesting.
